There were only  25 wineries in Napa in the 1970s. Today there are well over 400. And tourism to Napa Valley keeps growing, as more Michelin-starred restaurants, luxurious hotels, and resorts, and elevated wine experiences have become tentpoles of tourism to the area.
Sadly, the devastating wildfires in California are endangering this beautiful region more every year, leading to losing their vines. Vineyards are concerned with smoke affecting the quality of their grapes.
