Last night was a night of celebration in Beverly Hills, CA. The iconic Rodeo Drive hosted its annual Holiday Lighting Celebration, marking the beginning of the holiday season In Los Angeles. The event included the reveal of this year’s decor theme, “Up Up and Away Holiday,” preceded by lots of entertainment, live performances on stage, including the Emmy Award-winning actor and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph, and street performers whizzing by as roller-skating holiday packages.

Elements of hot-air balloons and holiday gifts wrapped in silver, blue, red, and white under the sparkle of the palm trees dotting Rodeo Drive, embellished with dripping lights, brought the magic of the Holidays back to the city of angels.

Later on, in a memorable moment, BH Mayor Dr. Julian Gold and City Council members lighted up the Christmas tree, revealing this year’s decor theme, “Up Up and Away Holiday.”  And finally, Santa Claus arrived on a Beverly Hills Fire Truck, making quite an entrance.

The holiday festivities will continue through January 1, 2024, featuring several other attractions and holiday displays:

  • “Glowing Gardens” at Beverly Cañon Gardens Park, featuring a majestic Christmas tree beautifully decorated,
  • “Lights on the Lily Pond” show at Beverly Gardens Park will take place every 15 minutes, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.,
  • the return of the “Unwrap the Magic” projection show, available every half hour from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the iconic Beverly Hills City Hall Tower. Visitors will be picked up by the all time festive “Jolly Trolley,”
